Embroidery vs Printing: Which Is Right for Your Workwear?

It's the first question almost every customer asks us: should my logo be embroidered or printed? Both look great — the right choice depends on the garment, your design and the look you're after.

When embroidery wins

Embroidery gives a premium, textured, hard-wearing finish that survives years of washing. It's ideal for polo shirts, fleeces, jackets, caps and anything you want to look smart and last. Setup is a fixed one-off cost no matter how many colours your logo has. See how our embroidery works.

When printing wins

Printing is better for large, detailed or full-colour designs, photographic images and lightweight T-shirts where you don't want a heavy patch. It's also great for names and numbers on sportswear. Explore our print services.

A quick rule of thumb

Logos on workwear and uniforms → embroidery. Big, bold, colourful designs and event tees → printing.
